THE STORY

Before Scottsdale, there was South Philadelphia.

Frank Fibonacci is Lou Campania’s feared number-two man. Alex Mendel is an MIT-trained chemist from Main Line privilege, recruited to build something bigger than street-level narcotics.

Frank brings Alex into the business.

Then falls in love with him.

Their relationship stays hidden while the empire grows — until the federal government tears it apart. They refuse to cooperate and go to prison together. Frank spends the next decade protecting Alex and dreaming about the life they will build when they get out: Arizona, sunlight, a legitimate business, a son.

One week before release, Frank earns another year defending Alex in a prison attack.

Alex walks out alone.

By the time Frank reaches Scottsdale, Alex has built the dream.

Los Angeles kingpin Billy “Dusty” Hendrickson wants more. Dallas crime lord T.J. “Split” McAllister wants control. Lou Campania’s shadow still reaches west. Meanwhile the DEA and FBI begin seeing old Philadelphia fingerprints inside new Scottsdale money.

Then Jacob’s best friend dies from one of their drugs.

Jacob starts digging.

The feds start closing.

And Frank realizes the truth:
