Tonight’s biggest story may be their last.

LOGLINE

When the city's oldest newspaper is threatened with closure, a mismatched crew of animal reporters discovers a story big enough to save The Daily Herald—if they can prove it before the presses stop for good. With one night left to chase the truth, the newsroom's least likely heroes race across the city following a trail nobody else believes is there.

THE STORY

At The Daily Herald, the presses still shake the floor, reporters still chase leads and an eccentric newsroom of dogs, cats, birds and assorted city creatures still believes getting the story right matters. But circulation is collapsing, the building is running out of time, and tomorrow's paper may be the last edition.

Then a seemingly insignificant tip points toward something much bigger, sending the Herald's unlikely reporting team from the night desk into streets, rooftops, archives and places respectable journalists probably shouldn't be. With the deadline approaching and nobody taking them seriously, they have one night to prove that an old-fashioned newsroom—and the truth it exists to print—still has some bite left.

GET THE SCOOP. GET IT RIGHT.

Before the presses stop.
