Everybody’s got a sound.

LOGLINE

When a struggling young musician is swept into an intergalactic battle of the bands, he joins the JAMONAUTS, a wildly mismatched crew of alien musicians whose only chance of surviving the competition is learning how to play together. Across increasingly impossible stages, strange worlds and rival bands, they discover that the sound everyone else wants them to imitate may be the one thing keeping them from finding their own.

THE STORY

The JAMONAUTS aren't the biggest band in the galaxy, the coolest band in the galaxy or, depending on the night, even particularly good. They're a collection of musical misfits with different instruments, personalities and ideas about what music should sound like—thrown together inside an intergalactic competition where spectacle matters almost as much as the songs.

Each round sends them deeper into a universe of outrageous bands, impossible venues and musical cultures unlike anything they've encountered, while the pressure to become what audiences expect threatens to tear them apart. To stay in the competition, the JAMONAUTS will have to discover something harder than playing perfectly: how to sound like nobody but themselves.

EVERYBODY’S GOT A SOUND.

The trick is finding yours.
