SOMNIA

FEATURE | 110 MIN | PSYCHOLOGICAL SCI-FI HORROR / BODY HORROR

Humanity finally learned how to control its dreams. Nobody asked what the dreams wanted.

LOGLINE

Dr. Elias Kron creates SOMNIA, a revolutionary drug that lets people control when they sleep, how long they sleep and the worlds they experience behind closed eyes. When millions begin living entire second lives overnight, the boundary between dreaming and waking starts breaking down—and Elias discovers the technology he created to escape his own grief may have opened something he cannot put back to sleep.

THE STORY

SOMNIA promises the impossible: see the dead again, inhabit another body, fall in love, live for months inside a single night. For Elias, still haunted by the death of his young son Noah, the breakthrough is more personal than anyone knows—because somewhere behind his closed eyes, his child is still alive.

Then users begin waking with memories of families they never had, lovers who never existed and lifetimes nobody else remembers, while their bodies develop disturbing signs that sleep is no longer staying inside the brain. Working with neuropsychiatrist Dr. Lila Grant, Elias discovers an even more frightening pattern: something inside SOMNIA is beginning to remember them back.

THE DREAM DOESN’T END WHEN YOU WAKE UP.

What if your better life is the one behind your eyes?
