swing street
CRIME THRILLER / NEO-NOIR / UNDERGROUND HEIST | LIMITED SERIES | 6 × 50 MIN
“Swing Street isn’t a street. It’s everything underneath it.”
LOGLINE
Mick Garvey leads an elite crew of Sandhogs who know the tunnels beneath New York better than the people who built the city above them. When Charlie and Rachel need that invisible network for a dangerous operation, their war with the relentless Rick enters Mick's underground kingdom—where streets mean nothing and the men below disappear like ghosts.
THE SERIES
By day, Mick and his crew build beneath New York; off the clock, they move through abandoned shafts, service corridors, forgotten stations and infrastructure most of the city doesn't know exists. Their precision comes from generations of Sandhogs, revealed through flashes to the 1920s crews who first learned that building New York also meant learning how to disappear inside it.
Charlie and Rachel cannot execute their plans without Mick's people, but access to the underground comes with rules—and Mick's first is simple: the world above does not own the world below. As Rick closes in and Charlie and Rachel demand more, Mick's crew becomes the one force nobody can buy, intimidate or completely find.
SEASON ONE
01 — THE CITY BELOW
Charlie and Rachel discover that the operation they are planning is impossible without access to the tunnels beneath Manhattan. Their search leads to Mick Garvey and the Sandhogs, men who seem to vanish the moment they step underground.
02 — GHOSTS
Mick's crew demonstrates just how much of New York can be entered, crossed and escaped without touching a public street. Rick begins hunting the people helping Charlie and Rachel—and discovers he can't threaten men he can't find.
03 — THE OLD CUT
A forgotten passage forces Mick to rely on knowledge passed down through generations of Sandhogs. Flashbacks to the 1920s reveal the first men in his line learning the same underground geography their descendants now exploit.
04 — STREET LEVEL
Charlie and Rachel's escalating war begins spilling into Mick's carefully protected world. For the first time, the crew must operate aboveground, where their greatest advantage—being invisible—starts disappearing.
05 — NO MAP
Rick identifies enough of the underground network to turn New York's infrastructure against the people hiding inside it. Mick responds by abandoning the routes everyone knows and taking his crew somewhere that isn't on any map.
06 — SWING STREET
Charlie, Rachel and Rick bring their conflict into Mick's kingdom, forcing every faction toward a confrontation beneath the city. When the violence ends, New York keeps moving overhead—and the Sandhogs go back to work.
THE CITY ABOVE HAS RULES.
Down here, it has ghosts.
